India lose first T20 by 31 runs

Sydney, Feb 1

India lost the first T20 International against Australia by 31 runs at the ANZ Stadium here Wednesday.

Chasing 172, India could only score 140 for six in 20 overs.

Mahendra Singh Dhoni made 48 while Virat Kohli scored 22.

David Hussey and Daniel Christian took two wickets each for Australia.
